Paver Sealing
Warranty Information
Thank you for choosing Chicagoland Paver Sealing for your sealant project! Your business is greatly appreciated! Our warranty is what we consider a “Common Sense Warranty”. This warranty is based on our mission statement of treating our customers like our friends. It is our absolute main goal to make you ecstatic about your decision to hire us. Happy clients lead to more happy clients. It’s what has made us successful in the past and will continue our success. You will not find a lot of red tape and restrictions here. Our goal is always to offer an amazing product backed by outstanding customer service! The only restrictions you will find in our warranty are issues that were caused by circumstances outside of our control. While this warranty may appear lengthy, you’ll find by reading it that it’s more informative than restrictive.

We ask that you use common sense in protecting your investment. If you’re at all concerned about a guest or contractor leaking fluids on your pavers, please ask them to park on the street. Advise your landscaper to keep their mowers and other equipment off of the pavers as tire marks are inevitable on any type of surface. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Chicagoland Paver Sealing offers warranties ranging from 90 days to 3 years. Please refer to your quote regarding the length of your warranty.
Chicagoland Paver Sealing warrants all residential applications against defects in workmanship or material failure such as sealant cracking, peeling or turning yellow for 90 days to 3 years from the date of completion. Chicagoland Paver Sealing will repair, at no charge to the homeowner, any necessary repairs due to workmanship or sealant failure.

Unless otherwise stated, no warranty is offered on pavers that have been previously sealed by another contractor or the homeowner.

Longevity of the sealant (color enhancement, gloss, water resistance, etc.) is not covered by this warranty. The quality of the pavers, age, condition, exposure to elements, traffic, drainage issues and installation method are all variables that are out of our control and can affect the longevity of the sealant.

No warranty is offered on repairs made to your pavers. While we make every attempt to properly repair your paver surfaces, conditions and situations outside of our control do not allow us to warranty the work performed.

Any maintenance performed on the pavers by contractors not approved by Chicagoland Paver Sealing will void the warranty.

This warranty excludes damages caused by failure of the substratum, or damage caused by customer abuse or neglect.

“Efflorescence” is not covered by this warranty. Efflorescence is a natural process, in which a random white haze may appear on the surface of the paver, which is caused by lime or a water soluble calcium oxide that rises to the surface after repeated saturations due to rain or sprinklers. Efflorescence does not affect the integrity of the pavers and will usually resolve itself with time and exposure to the elements. The proper pre-treating and sealing of pavers can either retard, or stop completely, the efflorescence process due to the moisture protection achieved by the sealing process. However, this warranty does not state or imply that efflorescence will stop as a result of the sealing process. We make every attempt to use the best products on the market to ensure that efflorescence does not become an issue in the future. Though efflorescence is incredibly rare, we will gladly work with you to resolve any issues that may arise.
Some pavers lie in a heavily moisture ridden substratum (due to improper drainage) which may cause the pavers to retain moisture and cloud the pavers. Only proper drainage will correct the problem and is the responsibility of the installer, not Chicagoland Paver Sealing. This is oftentimes dependent on traffic volume, UV exposure, weather conditions, rain water control from dripping off of a home’s roof, garden hose, downspouts pouring directly on the surface, etc.

Lastly, Chicagoland Paver Sealing cannot be responsible for any type of organic stains caused by high iron content in your homes water supply, plant material or chemical spills that may occur on the paver surfaces and cause damage. While the sealant will protect against most spills and are easily cleaned up, due to the wide array of chemicals that may be spilled, we cannot guarantee that they will not damage the sealant or the paver. Example: Most motor oils usually clean up easily. Hydraulic fluid, however, will dissolve the sealant and permanently stain the paver. Like always, we will be more than happy to help you figure out how to handle the situation and how to resolve it.

I cannot stress enough that we are ALWAYS here to help you. Should any issues arise, please contact us so the issue can be resolved immediately. It is our full intent to make you VERY happy with your sealant project!
