What are the benefits of having my brick pavers professionally cleaned and sealed?
-
Professionally cleaning and sealing your brick pavers helps restore their original beauty by removing dirt, stains, and moss. It also provides long-term protection from the elements, preventing damage from water, UV rays, and weed growth. Sealing enhances the color, keeps your pavers looking fresh, and extends their lifespan, saving you money on costly repairs. Plus, it helps maintain a smooth, safe surface for years to come.
How often should brick pavers be resealed?
-
We recommend resealing every 3-5 years, depending on sun exposure, weather conditions, and foot or vehicle traffic.
Will sealing make my brick pavers slippery?
-
No - we use professional-grade sealers that enhance color without creating a slippery surface. We can also apply a non-slip additive if needed.
Can you remove old, failed sealer or stains before sealing?
-
Yes! Our deep cleaning process is designed to strip away old, failing sealers and remove stains before applying a fresh, even coat.
How long does the cleaning and sealing process take?
-
Most projects are completed in 1-2 days, depending on size and weather conditions.
How long is the curing process?
-
We recommend no foot traffic for the first 24 hours and no vehicle traffic for a minimum of 72 hours after application.
What types of sealers do you use?
-
All of the sealants we use are commercial grade, high-quality sealers that protect your pavers from water, UV rays, and stains, while enhancing their true color and durability. We offer options for both water based and solvent (oil) based sealants and will be happy to discuss with you the benefits of both options.
Can you clean and seal pavers in any weather?
-
We prefer dry, mild conditions for the best results, but we'll always discuss weather impact before scheduling your service.
How do I maintain my pavers after sealing?
-
Simply wash your pavers regularly with a hose or broom to keep them clean. Avoid harsh chemicals, as they can damage the sealant. Or, better yet, take advantage of our Paver Protection Plan and leave the maintenance to us!
Are your cleaning products safe for pets and plants?
-
Absolutely!!! We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions that are safe for both pets and plants. These are citrus and soy based. If additional, harsher chemicals are required for your project, we will discuss that with you.
Can you remove oil or grease stains from my brick pavers?
-
In most cases, yes! However, this depends on the age of the stain and the condition of your pavers. We specialize in removing stubborn stains like oil and grease, restoring the look of your pavers.
Do I need to be home during the service?
-
It's not required, but we're happy to discuss your preferences for the service. A lot of our customers like to schedule the service while they're out of town so that they're not inconvenienced with having to park on the street or a neighbors driveway. We'll handle everything efficiently while keeping you informed with updates & photos sent by text or email.
Will sealing my pavers prevent weed growth?
-
Yes, sealing your pavers help prevent weeds. The sealants we use have joint stabilization characteristics, meaning the sealant will harden the joint sand, making it harder for weeds to take root. Application of polymeric sand is also an option.
We travel a lot. Can this process be handled electronically?
-
Absolutely!!! We are big fans of taking advantage of all of the technology available. A good portion of our clients, we never actually meet face-to-face. Communication can be done through phone/email, your contract can be signed electronically, you'll receive notifications from our software system regarding the entire process and when the project is completed, you can pay online.
